I'm wondering if anyone has any recent first hand experience with the vaping situation in Colombia?
I can read info on websites, news and laws all day on the internet but I get a lot of conflicting info. So if you were recently there or live there let me know if I'll have a problem at the airport getting in with my mod and some juice.

I figured I'll ask people that might have first hand knowledge because many times that actual situation is different from the laws. For example, I live in USA but have a second home in Thailand. If someone was going to Thailand today with their vape supplies they would read on the net that it's banned. Yet, I enter Thailand about every three months with all my vape supplies, customs sees it, police see it when I'm walking around the streets and it's perfectly acceptable. Same with UAE, where it is supposed to be banned. Once in 2010 at Dubai airport I was entering from Thailand and did get my eGo's confiscated and they let me keep the juice. But, since the I entered UAE multiple times each year bringing my stuff and had no problem. Customs usually looks at it because my 18650 batteries and my mod looks suspicious on their X-ray and once they see it is electronic 'shisha' as they call it, I'm free to go. As recent as last October (2015) customs police in Dubai looked at my vape mods and it wasn't an issue. Yet, the same websites that say it is banned in Colombia say it's banned in UAE. Also had no problem in Malaysia as recent as 2014, another 'banned' country.

So if you have actual first hand 'boots on the ground' knowledge and not links, laws and news stories of the vaping situation in Colombia, please share your experience

I may also be visiting Panama and Costa Rica on this trip
