My sig thing says I broke even today. I guess I would have to add the additional hardware to the orders I've made since setting up the sig and might not break even for another few weeks, maybe a month.

Anyhow, I do see that ultimately there could be some savings if I were to stick to a plan and budget but with so many choices I find myself ordering stuff almost weekly.

I was wondering how much you guys figure you spend per week on average. The analog packs here in Louisiana aren't as bad as other places. About 4-5 per pack.

Also, once you vaped a while, did the mad rush to try everything on the market subside?

I spent a lot at first... and for the last 2-3 months Ive spent 0 dollars because Im flat broke. But I have some stock Ive built up and friends to help me out. Dont worry dude. to answer your question, once youve found the juices you like and the equipment that works for you then you dont have the need to buy as much stuff. Some people just like to keep buying stuff though. even before I was broke I didnt spend very much. maybe 60 bucks a month. Im definately saving money. My cigs cost 6.56 a pack back when I smoked.

Don't think I'll ever spend less than when I smoked the ole pipe; however, I've settled down to a few flavors and it's costing me a lot less than when I started. I'm not even going to go back and look at what I've spent and try to figure a monthly cost. I know it is high, but what the heck. I have been vaping for nine months now and feel great and there is no going back. I vape everywhere I go and have received nothing but compliments.

Congrats on the break even day!!

For the frugally minded 30ml bottles and blank cartos are THE way to go. I can make 1 blank carto last 3-6 days just refilling it. No fancy cleaning or anything involved. I just keep it wet.
So even being super conservative..a pack of carts and a bottle of juice last me 2 weeks. Way cheaper than the 2 cartons of smokes would have cost.

I agree with Wader .I do it that way too .I also like to order some carts and refill with same or similiar flavor .I only buy a bottle once i know i love it .Of course in the beginning the temptaions were great .but its like shopping ,you have to budget and plan .
Its costing me way less then the 6 plus per pack of analogs per day .I think now i am spending 1/3 to 1/2 of analogs with a little discipline .Its 1/3 unless i am really low or need a new batt /charger .:)

Its been almost 2yrs for me.I still see some new products and want to get them.Ive learned to watch and wait and let the people who can afford it be the testers, lol.I just buy prefills and keep refilling until they die out.Im pretty frugal and try to stretch stuff out as far as I can.I know Im spending less than I was smoking.Thank God Ive had alot of help recently or I probably would have been out.To me I love vaping, but I love the people even more.

That's about right...it takes 2-3 months to amass a good stock of hardware, find what juices you like and start tapering down your spending. Like Wader, I get about a weeks worth of use out of a daily go-to Carto, then rinse it out. Keeping 3-5 cartos and batts in rotation I sit down once a day and top off each Carto with a syringe.

In most cases I can get 3 weeks of use out of a Carto until the Atomizer starts to break down. By keeping 2 bottles of back-up stock of your go-to flavors....you'll find you may go weeks to over a month without spending money on supplies. The toughest part is trying to justify why you don't need 2 more batteries, since you already have 20, when there is a good sale going on!

you can sign in and see how much you spent ,i beleive its for 3 months prior :)

I did this just the other day! Unfortunately, I went so crazy right off the bat, and have toned it down so very little, that my break even date can not be calculated... unless I switch back to analogs, I suppose. It's the dang hardware! I've slowed down a lot on flavors and refill like mad, but I just can't seem to resist a new battery/charger/adapter/drip tip, you know!?

I'll get there...
