Broke even today, if you don't count the few packs of analogs I smoked in the first two weeks of vaping.... started august 2, stopped analogs august 17.... I did maybe 5 packs of analogs in that time, so counting those, ill break even in 5 days? If I bought my twist earlier and didnt spend the money testing out some disposables and all of the blu carts, I'd have broke even earlier....

Saw quite a few more Marines vaping this week alone than I have since I started vaping, too....

Steps ahead, looking at diy juices and getting something other than the stock plastic tank things that came with the twist....

I think I saved about negative 600 bux so far......LoL

I am kind of a hobbyist though, and have turned vaping into my newest hobby.

The good thing is a lot of the stuff I have bought will last quite a while and I hope to eventually get into the green.

Most importantly, I am no longer pounding nails into the coffin, and that my friends, is priceless.

I made most of my mods, way too many, but when one dies, I just drag out another.
Bought some eGos, twists, etc, and cartos, and tanks, and extra bottom coils, DIY nic supplies.
Over the past 5 years I have saved a bundle (two ex-smokers) and have about 2 years worth of stash.
If you don't chase flavors, or every new tank, APV, or RBA you can same money. Lots of it.
If you want to collect APVs as a hobby, or try every last flavor ever concocted, then maybe not.
Just don't expect people to listen to you complain about the economy if you spend more on e-cigs than you did on tobacco.
It's all just a choice.

I broke even not long ago...and promptly bought some joose...now waiting to get far enough to get ahead and buy the SVD, charger and tanks I have in my Fast tech cart in oh about 7 weeks if I keep my joose ordering to a minimum.

I have a pass tru, a twist and a evod....and 5 kanger tanks so I will survive I hope...but my inner brat says I want stuff now:vapor:

So far I've spent about $400 on vaping supplies and new toys. I was smoking 4 packs of lucky strikes a day at $60 a carton and its been 102 days.
4x$6x102=$2448, and every 12 minutes I don't smoke, I save 30 cents!

I'm all for saving money, so I do a lot of DIY.
Costs me about 30 cents a day for juice, average about 20 cents a day in cartos, and about 10 cents a day for batteries. What's that, about 1 pack a week? Half a pack in some areas?
If you WANT to save money you can. If you don't want to save, but woould rather have fun trying new flavors, or new APVs then call it a hobby and chalk up the extra cost to recreation expenses.
Other than the initial outlay to get started and set up spares (spares everything) I don't see how anyone couldn't save money if they WANTED.
