Broke my Ego-T, please help.

For safety reasons I think I'd replace it. I have a pair of Vision Spinner (1300mAh) from Hoosier I really like - should always have back-ups for you back-ups.
Yeah, I'll certainly replace it in the near future but I'd rather not toss it straight away since I'm really short on money right now... Watched a few battery repair videos on youtube and from what I've gathered the way it came off is the normal way you'd disassemble a battery, then you'd just solder the wires when you're done. The issue is I don't know what goes where. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Great advise Caridwen! You also must ask yourself if it worth the risk of trying to make the repair.
I recently replaced the button on a battery. Just wanted to try it to see if I could do it. I haven't had the nerve to try to charge it.

That sounds like something I would do. 
What the heck, ya only live once. Wait til it's warm and charge it outside.I did the same thing to a battery once. Haven't tried to repair it yet but maybe I should
