Hey Everyone,

I posted on here when I first started vaping and got some good feedback...(thanks). Here is my new dilema:

I lost my Ego-T while on vacation. I'm looking to order a new kit, but I can't seem to find what i'm looking for. They guy at my local store said there was a new Ego-T battery that you could change the voltage. He was not talking about the Ego-C, he called it to Ego-T upgrade battery. Here's what i'd like and any advice would be great:

Ego-T upgrade battery for dual voltage
Some sort of tank that holds more than the standard Ego-T tank, but nothing that looks like a satellite. I want to still be able to fit it into my pocket.
I'd like something that doesn't leak and is easy to refill.

Looking forward to all of your great advice and tips. Also, some recommendations on where to get it online would be great. I'd really like to support my local store, but their prices are just too high compared to what i am seeing online.

Thanks.

Hi Indisent, The ego t upgrade is this.....Joye eGo-T 2 Upgrade 1000mah Battery it allows you to use the regulated 3.3~3.4volt ego setting or the regulated(?) 4.2volt setting. They also carry a 650mAh model as well. They also carry the twist batteries, but they are longer and not sure thats what you are searching for right now.

On the tank question they also carry the Vivi Nova Vision CE2 ViVi Nova V2 5ml Tank , which looks kinda wonky on an ego battery in my opinion and the new kanger rebuildable t-2 eGo 2.4ml CC CE4 Clearomizer and they include the new revised mouthpiece. This is my go-to shop for supplies and products because I know if Rob sells it he has used it and therefore I know I have someone looking out for me(and my hard earned dollar) I have always had exemplary service from here and never needed to look for somwhere else to shop. Good Luck. Happy Vaping.

The T upgrade allows you to use it at a regulated 3.3 volts (like a Joye eGo) or (5 clicks) change to unregulated (4.2 volts full charge dropping to 3.5 volts when it requires recharge) like a kGo.

I would rather have a Twist, that can be regulated at any voltage between 3.2 and 4.8 volts.

It would look good and work well with the new Mini Vivi Nova, which is a good match to the diameter of an eGo, unlike it's large ugly brother that looks like a small lantern or an antique gas pump. Thankfully, it works 10 times better than it looks!

Regardless of what you decide on,
Relax, Enjoy!

I think he was talking about one of those that you click the button a few times and change the voltage and then they glow a different color. Those aren't as good as the new batteries. The one you want is the Ego C Twist. The Ego C is the latest "evolution" in the EGO T tank system. I say that is quotes because many people think it was more like a devolution.

In my opinion you should stay away from the Sweetvapes deal it's a rip off - you're paying WAY MORE for that stupid case that you'll likely never use. Those batteries cost literally about 15 bucks from China. http://www.altsmoke.com has them for 23 bucks for 650mahs which is the best deal you are going to find on the net. I'm assuming you still have your ego charger so that'll save you money right there. Get two of those "replacement batteries" at 1000mah or a 650 and a 1000 since the 650 is smaller and you may want the extra portability.

Stardusts are extreme garbage. They seem cool at first and then they start cracking on you right away and then they are junk. The bubbles start coming through and that pushes your ejuice down into your battery well and then the thing shorts out til you clean it. They say that they don't crack and then right next to the new rebuildable stardusts you have replacement tank tubes. They also require cleaning every few days to have any semblance of performance which gets tedious. I find that they cook my juice until it turns dark brown and then it tastes like crap and vapes worse as well.

The best CE4 on the market, IMO, is the Vision Vivi Nova. If you look into rebuilding them (youtube is your friend) you can save a lot of money instead of replacing your atomizer heads all the time (they sell replacement heads). Each Vivi Nova comes with 3 heads (low, medium, and high resistance let's call them) so once you rebuild them all you can literally wash the tank and dry it out and then swap heads and flavors. Plus it's nice to have extra ones that are ready to go for a quick change so you can rebuild when you have the time. The Vivi Nova also comes with an option of purchasing a metal, truly unbreakable tube, but of course that comes with extra cost and the inability to see the juice without taking the top off (not a big deal for a permanent tank).

If you want to skimp then get some Stardusts for now, go for it, but don't say I didn't tell you so. They won't last. Vivi Novas cost 3 times as much but they last forever if you do it right. I'd personally rather make one investment that lasts over one where you end up throwing your investment in the trash in the near future. Save the landfill too :)

p.s. you can use the coupon code "FACE10LIKE" at altsmoke for 10% off your order ONE TIME. Use it wisely and stock up!

I actually have a couple of eGo-T Upgrade batteries. Here is the description of how they work:

Black (rubber coated) manual, 650MAH
Regulated, and Unregulated Voltage Output. To toggle between Regulated, and Unregulated Voltage modes, deactivate the battery by clicking the switch 5 times. Once deactivated, hold down the switch (approx. 5 seconds) until it flashes 3 times. During Regulated Voltage Output mode, the LED will be White. During Unregulated Voltage Output mode, the LED will be Orange.
Regulated Voltage ~ 3.4v
Unregulated Voltage ~ 4.2v

Unregulated voltage will obviously not stay at 4.2 volts. It will start at 4.2 volts fully charged and decrease to 3.5 volts as it is used.

Unregulated devices are usually described as 3.7 volts since that is an average of where it spends most of its time.

The choices with a T upgrade could be classed as "eGo - regulated 3.4 volts" and "kGo - unregulated, 4.2 - 3.5 volts". Those are the only choices available with it, which is OK since many people are happy with an eGo or a kGo. This allows you to choose which you wish to use.
