So I got my first VV/VW device 2 days ago from fastech. A Vamo V5. I had already ordered batteries, 3 protank 2's and an airflow controller to protect the threads. The Vamo has been working great. Got home from work tonight, grabbed the Vamo only to have it slip out of my hand. Broke the fall with my foot , but the protank threaded part broke clean off in the airflow controller. Bummer. Luckily I had 2 more. Ordered a 5 pack of replacement bases figuring it was bound to happen again. Also want to try drilling out the holes slightly to give a little more airy draw. Got to use to that with my protank 2 minis and ego twists. HD.

I guess I'm lucky not to mention using a bit lighter Vision Twist battery have dropped it twice so far and still good. Although the ring for my Pro Tank II is starting to wear the threads a bit and starting to cross-thread.

You talking about the top cap screw? Since it broke off mine as well. Luckily i found a site which sold that part for 4 euro. But in the mean time i tried this: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-kanger-pro-tank-broken-don-t-throw-away.html

^ That is awesome and will definitely get you in to RDA's. After that i bought the cheapest RDA... the terminator. I removed it from the tank (heard it was useless, not gonna waste precious halo on that) and use it now as a dripper. Its the bomb bro.

Anyways, like i said in my 'new member' thread, try recoiling it with cotton. With me, no more leakage or gurgling and better taste. A LOT better taste! You just get more out of this beautiful clearo.

Also something you might like to hear: In my humble opinion, the Protank T2 is the best clearo there is. Mostly because of its built quality, it looks and feels just superb. Only negative side is that it requires some cleaning up etc. and the coils doesn't seem to last as long as lets say iClear coils or Justfog Maxi.

Justfog Maxi comes number two btw, definitely. It would've beaten the PT2 if it wasn't for that anoying 'top coil antics' where you have to twirl around to have it soak else you get a burned taste. Besides that, Justfog maxi is a great clearomizer and produces even more vape then the PT2. It slurps about 2 to 3 times more too though, so for me the PT2 is the better choice!

EDIT: FYI, PT2, though great as a clearo, is still below a RDA/RBA in flavor. The terminator just blows it away. Unless you use that crazy method from the link i posted, that actually comes very close.

You can buy most of the parts for the PTII pretty easily if something ever did happen. The only thing I really fear with my PTIIs is the threading breaking off in my battery or ruining my threading in my battery by cross-threading.

That is why I am careful to put one on and take it off. Due to past vaping experience, I am already in the habit of putting the toppers on and off the battery upside down. You can never accidentally unscrew the wrong part, you use gravity to keep the topper straight and it is harder to cross-thread it
