I got a brand new itaste 134 a few days ago, and it's defective. I know Innokin offers a warranty, but I have NO idea how you'd get that honored. I do not have a receipt for it, it was a group buy.
The light goes on and it makes a buzzing noise when the button is pressed... but barely fires the atomizer. It's not the battery. It will vape at the lowest possible setting. I have tried 6 different 18650 batteries in it, all of which work in other mods perfectly. I have tried every type of atomizer on it, from carto to rba to rda. It's not the ohms, it's not the atomizer pin either, the 134 center is not stripped, nor have I torqued any atomizers down on it to have budged it in the few days I've had it. The top pin looks and is new and not even scratched.
When I got it, it DID work, but stopped working within a day. What appears stuck is the ring, it turns fine, but doesn't change any settings regardless of what it locks into. It seems stuck on a low setting. It will make teeny vapor, barely a smolder, no matter what you rotate the wheel to.
What I most want to know is... how to get the screws out? Is there actually a tool? Where could that tool be obtained?
In the last 6 hours, I have stripped 3 small screwdrivers (out of a Kobalt Screwdriver Set for electrical repairs), and nearly stripped the screws themselves. IS there a dedicated tool I could use??? Does someone know of Allen wrenches or something that has worked?? I put WD-40 on all the screws already... didn't help. Just ordered Permatex Dielectric Tune-Up Grease, CRC QD Electronic Cleaner, and Gardner Bender OX-100B Anti-Oxidant compound on Amazon to try (wanted them anyway). But that will take 2 days... and I suspect the problem will still be the tool... the shape of the holes seems more suited for an allen wrench than screwdrivers.
Has anyone gotten these screws out?? (I know someone has, I found a painted one in a search). Please can someone offer some suggestions? Been searching for hours and not even a hint for the correct tool to use. Thank you for any suggestions!!!
