Broken Phoenix Center Post?

I've got a Phoenix rba clone that began suffering the rising center post issue. All was well for a while, I just pushed the post down until it was flush with the connector and threw it back on my mod.


Though now it seems that no longer works, I've tried all manners of adjusting it up and down, but no matter what I try I get the AO error on my Provari.


Has anyone else had this issue? Does anyone have a suggestion for fixing it?


My reasons for fixing this instead of purchasing another are two-fold:

• I like the Phoenix, and would prefer to keep it in my rotation.
• It's my only RBA, and I can't afford to replace it.

Any help here is greatly appreciated!

This is a common problem with Phoenix. I think the gasket around the center post just eventually wears out, causing a short. I've had two of mine do this and ended up throwing them out. I bought a few at vaporbreak, I think they were $6, but take a few weeks to ship from China.
