I ordered a PT for my 510 from China. I received it last week and it worked great for about 3-4 days. Then it just stopped working.

My husband has opened it up and we checked the wires, they are still connected (soldered).

I tried putting a new battery in it. Still not working.

I contacted the company several times. No reply.

Is there any way to cure this thing, or is my money wasted?

Check some of the threads in the modders forum, I have a sticked thread in the battery mods section on making your own passthru. It's pretty simple really, you just need a usb connector, wire, a button, and the connector that you can take off of the passthru you ordered.

Chances are something on the PCB fried of the one you have and it's toast - fortunately you'll probably prefer 5v over the 3.5v it was running and making your own can be quite satisfying.

First, in case you didn't do this, replace the atomizer.... eliminate the obvious possibles and if that doesn't do it, follow nerf's suggestion or send it back. You might say where you got it, but eg. if you got it at heaven gifts, eastmall or healthcabin - all of those places would honor a warranty and if you send it back airmail - while it will take a while - it will get there and cost less. And if you email the vendor they may very well send you a new one before they get the bad one if you give some proof that you sent it back - tracking or receipt no. from the usps.
