Being no expert; but happy to pretend . . . . I've filled a few holes on RM2s, and, when smoothing them out, I found that I got into the copper underlayer VERY quickly. (It's copper, then brass, and the copper goes real dark after about a week of use.) If I were to try and get an even brushed look, I would do it with #000 steel wool. I think it cuts less aggressively than sandpaper. (seriously tho, totally guessing here; but that's what my scattered experience tells my gut to go with.)

Post a pic of how it looks! I tried to brush finish one of my Igo-Ls one day... ouch. Of course I used whatever I could find and did it quick and carelessly.

I will def post it, long day tomorrow so will probably be monday-ish
lol isn't that how we are all, get all excited and rush to get it done lol. That's what happened with one of my phoenix attys, got all excited to drill the air hole out and well.... that one was ruined forever lol
