So, I got a BSB on the classifieds with a couple of Ultrafire 2400mah batteries a while back. Love the battery life but not as long as expected and not nearly as much vapor as my BB.

I just figured that the batteries were weak and ordered the AW 2600mah which came yesterday. Still testing run time, but still not the vapor I expect with 510 LR atty.

Looked under the hood and saw that I have the old spring which had some corrosion. Went to Altsmoke and ordered the Hotspring and some more attys. Just for giggles thought I'd try the spring from the BB. It does not fit tightly of course, but it was indeed the fix.

Moral of the story is: If you do not have the Hotspring on an older SB-Get One!

Waiting on batteries and attys for the 6v. I have some batteries which are a bit too long that I got with the Indulgence. 3.2v but just a hair big. I blew my last atty that can handle 6v. More should be here tomorrow or Friday. I've got the 15270s for the BB as well. They don't last long, but give a good 6v experience while they last.

I am going to try the 1.8 LR from Altsmoke and see if they last longer than the 1.5s I have been using. Have tried from all makers I think, but EM-LR 510s seem to last the longest.

I agree.

I basically use my bullet in two configurations:

1. Low resistance atomizer, 18650 3000mah Ultrafire, with hot spring.
2. High (or standard) resistance atomizer, two LifePo CR123A's, with the old (cold?) spring.

Works like a champ. The spring makes a difference for sure. I think its too much at 6 volts with the hot spring, so I switch back.
