I'd like to venture into low nicotine high vapor vaping and sub-ohm setups seem the best way to go. My main device is a Provari, and while it's nice and consistent, it's a simple device with limitations. As a 2nd mod, I'd like to get something that'll do sub-ohm vaping. THIS BUDGET IS FOR BOTH THE MOD AND ATOMIZER\etc. I'd also like to use this as a good reference point for some of my buddies curious about this kind of vapage.

While I have some ideas in mind, I'd like to see what kind of budget friendly combo you can come up with. Odds are I'll probably be making the order via KIDNEYPUNCHER.

I wouldn't recommend kidneypuncher... only ordered from them once, regretted it since a week later I found the exact same clone (both made by same company) for ~ 1/2 the price.

https://88evape.com/shop/mechanical-mods/nemesis-mod/ - $22
https://88evape.com/shop/rebuildable-atomizers-tanks/tobh-atty-clone/ - $14.99 OR https://88evape.com/shop/rebuildable-atomizers-tanks/magma-atomizer-clone/ - $19.99
https://88evape.com/shop/rebuildable-atomizers-tanks/aqua-atomizer/ - $25.99
https://88evape.com/shop/batteries-chargers/sony-vct4-2100mah/ x2 - $19.98 for both

All this would come to less than $100 after shipping, and give you a great tank + dripper as well as 2 batteries that will be able to handle sub ohm setups.

If I can get a 18650 in there, I'd be golden since all my batteries are 18650's. Wow...nice recommendation homie...very impressed. I'll def be looking into this further. Anyone else that's got recommendations send em my way... really appreciate it! thanks!

Yes, you can fit 18650's into the Nemesis. Just make sure whatever batteries you're using can handle the amp drain you'll put on them running sub-ohm setups.

Oh, and if you didn't wanna order from 88evapes... Try 101vape.com, also USA based and better on their pricing than kidneypuncher.

Depending on how low you go in regards to ohms you should also keep into consideration the vtc 5. Other wise that's a good suggestion.

AFAIK, the VTC3, VTC4, and VTC5 have identical amp discharge ratings... Just later versions last longer between charges (more mAh). Could be wrong or have a drastic misunderstanding, and if that's the case then please correct me before I blow myself up :p But all 3 are rated for 30A continuous discharge (again, AFAIK) letting you go down to ~.14Ω "safely".

I intend to go as low as my high drain 18650's can go. I'd prefer a setup that allows me to use the same batteries. The ones you pointed out are great, I already want to buy them since they're a few MAH higher than my main ones. hmmm.... how low can I go with this batteries you're recommending? I don't plan on going lower than .5, I feel like I'm in the dangerzone if I venture lower than that.

Keep in mind the Sony vtc series is flat top and will not work in your provari. The aw 1600mah are button top and provide 24amps continuous discharge. The 2000mah are good for 10amps.

yeah I unfortunately caught that when I looked at the images. I'm fine with 2000 mah, honestly. 2 of those will definitely last a whole day. I'm still extremely surprised by how cheap this combo is. Unless anyone has a reason to tell me that those links above won't yield me a good sub-ohm setup for cheap...I don't see any reason as to not order them tonight.

You'll need to keep your Provari batteries separate from your mech batteries because all the high amp discharge rate batteries are flat tops. That includes the Sony VTC, MNKE, and purple Efests.

I ordered my 4nine clone and Trident V2 clone from 88evapes. I am quite happy with the product and the speed with which they shipped my product. I even had to send the Trident back to them for replacement due to some machining issues, but they shipped the new one back to me fairly quick.

Another site that I've been tempted to try is Vaping Walrus. Their prices seem pretty good and can get you a similar set up for under $100.

very true about where to go, but I'd like to use the same batteries for both setups, I like to keep things simple.

dont forget an ohm meter with resolution down to 100ths

very true since I resort to using my MVP and provari for readings. sub-ohms aren't read my either. so yeah...

Well the flat tops aren't compatible with the Provari and also void your warranty. Along with the fact that just about all the 30 amp batteries are flat top as far as I know of. Though the AW 18650's 1600mah should have a 24 amp limit.

EDIT: DO NOT confuse the AW 18650 1600mah with the 2000mah. They have different amp limits.

Are you in a hurry?

You can do ALOT with 100 bucks on Fasttech, it may not be the most popular choice but you do get alot of bang for the buck, in fact you can easily get 2 mods, 3 drippers or tanks and still have money left over for drip tips and batteries (don't order batteries there they take forever to get to you).

I wound up not making an impulse buy... I wanted to hear more and look into it further. So all in all...no chance using my 18650 2000 mah batts in a sub-ohm setup? bums me out a bit because I'm trying to keep things simple for now. Is it impossible or do I just have more limited options? hmm...

It's great seeing all these options so far that treat my budget really well... much appreciated.

In the meantime, I plan on heading to MOVAPES in Brooklyn to look into it further, gotta some Five Pawns anyways. The guys that work there are tech-heads and some really know their stuff in great detail. highly recommend checking that store out if you're from the NYC area. Prices are good too, but definitely not online good. I'm a hands-on kinda guy...gotta see things for myself in order to understand them more, etc.
