Say for Battery life reasons, you want to get the most flavor from a Kayfun, all day on 1 battery. For the Mod setup, I'm using, that means using 7-10 watts.

How would you build your coil or coils?
On a Kayfun... with that low a wattage, it'd be coil, singular.

Using 29 gauge, and splitting the difference for wattage at 8.5w... at 1.2Ω you'd median heat flux of 178 mW/mm2 ~ to a warm HF of 267 mW/mm2 at 0.8Ω.
You can juggle wattage within your range, or wire gauge up and down, to obtain a cooler or warmer vape from the above baseline reference.

Heat flux is the radiant coil temperature expressed in milliwatts per millimeter squared. Click the first two sigline links below to better understand the relationships between wire gauge, resistance, parallel coil count and wattage, to arrive at a desired heat flux.

Thanks, State, You are right in the Heat zone I am targeting. Except I have been paying with 30awg coils recently in the 1.7-2.1ohm range Guess I should have specified I want to stay above 1.5 ohm.. I can run sub ohm, and do. But my All-day Device is a Kicked mod.

Guess I'm trying to see what people build when they are NOT building for high wattage/amperage devices and making big clouds.
