I'e been vaping for 2 years just on regulated mods and coils. I want to build my own rba. I have a wismen rx gen 3 with a smok Prince. I want to get the smok Prince rba deck. I want to run a dual coil set up. I' thinking about using .5 coils. So that would give me around .25 ohms correct? Would the batteries that came with it be sufficient and safe? If not what batteries should I look into.

What batteries came with it, and are they two years old? It's a bit hard to answer that question because external battery mods don't "come" with batteries although some vendors will sell you batteries or add them as an option so NO CLUE.

Basically, you need batteries that will be able to handle a 0.25 build. What resistance are you vaping now and how is it going?

My current batteries are Samsung 18650 3.7v 25000mah.
My resistance with a smok t10 coil is. 26
And these batteries handle it well but the do get hot if I consistently use it for more than 30 minutes.

I think you mean 2500 mAh. What we also need to know is the model. Do you see any letter/number codes like 30Q or 25R?

What wattage do you vape at? On a regulated mod, it's the wattage, not the resistance, that matters when it comes to batteries.

Batteries getting hot is a sign the batteries are being overstressed. The heat itself can also cause damage, reducing the batteries' capabilities for the future. Did they always get hot when you vaped for a while, or has this developed more recently? It could be happening because the batteries have deteriorated with age, especially if you've had them for two years. Two years is a good run for a vaping 18650.

Given the age he's talking about, probably the same batteries i first started on ill bet

Samsung green INR2500-25R? - 20 Amp CDR

Only possibly their age would preclude using on low builds/high wattage

New batteries even here only average $11/12, me id get some new ones, depending on the watts you plan to use probably go:

Tootle puffing: Samsung 30Q (Pink) - 15Amp CDR
Not: LG HG2/similar (Brown) - 20Amp CDR

Since you specify 60w, heres a lazy link for you, better info: How long does it take for your mod to fully charge your 18650 battery? (linked from there because i was in the thread the other day, and im lazy)https://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/t...arge-your-18650-battery.866869/#post-20900937

Post relates to a single battery mod, but you can extrapolate for safety...or even go here for more info: Batteries, another Safety Guide | E-Cigarette Forum

They are 25r. Which batteries would you guys recommend for vaping at 60wats with a .25 resistance?

Samsung 25Rs are very good batteries. Depending on the age and usage of the ones you have, it might be time to replace them. You can replace them with the same, or there are a few other options.

You're using a three-battery mod, aren't you? If so, to vape at 60 w you'd be fine with most of the 18650s on this chart (although I'd avoid the Sanyo and the LG MG1 - they'd be at their limit at 60 w and it's best to leave some wiggle room. Additionally, you shouldn't go any higher with them):

Mooch's Recommended Batteries | E-Cigarette Forum

I don't know where you are, but the blue row near the bottom of the chart includes a list of reliable suppliers in the US and EU. I'd strongly recommend buying from one of them if it's possible. They really lower your risk of winding up with a counterfeit, and their prices are very reasonable.

The 25R is a 20 amp battery which equates to 60 watts, so three batteries is 180 watts. Factoring in the reduction in CDR for their age I would say that 60-100 watts is fine. Though now would be a great time to recycle and replace them with some LG HG2 or Samsung 30Q.
Batteries are cheap, medical bills are not.
