I just got in a new Manhattan with a tugboat V2 and i built a 26 gauge twisted coil with 6 wraps with using moonriders organic cotton. Its not getting as fat of clouds as i would have hoped. Any suggestions?
your getting about 6W, many regulated devices don't go that low. you have a problem somewhere. You said twisted is that single twisted wire or you have twisted 2 wires together? even single you should be at 0.7 ohms or something close so check your posts are tight and you don't have a short somewhere.
He has to mean 0.27. There's no way 6 wraps of twisted 26g would be at 2.7ohms.
Getting better clouds is all about wattage and airflow. Make sure your airholes are lined up with your coils and that the surface area of the coil is exposed to the air. Don't cover it with cotton. You also don't need a lot of cotton. Just make sure you don't leave any part of the coil untouched by the cotton inside of it.
Additionally, a higher VG concentration in your juice will lead to bigger clouds.
