building coils on a tugboat for a hana mod

ok i want to rebuild the coils on my tugboat for use with my hana any suggestions on what gauge wire and what ohms to wrap it to

26 ga 9 wraps x 2 coils = .6 on my 2 Tugs is what I run on my Cana/Chana mod...

Is this your first RDA? If so, I would suggest a single coil set-up at 1.5 ohms/16 watts for starters.

I'm assuming that you have all the proper materials, tools, multimeter and perhaps a simple ohm meter and are familiar with batteries and their performance properties.

eta: oh, I forgot. I would use 28 ga. Kanthal wire for this particular build.

Sweet . . . That's about a 5/64 bit.

You can squeeze it with a pair of tweezers and torch it to keep the coils nice and tight prior to mounting it or do the same mounted on your Hana. Pulse the coil on your mod, release the fire button and squeeze the coil. Do not fire and squeeze the coil at the same time.

Start off at some 16 watts and adjust to your preference. Myself, a single coil at 1.3 ohms, I don't go pass 20 watts.
