Build on mutation v2

i just got an ipv3 and building on a mutation v2. I wrapped a dual coil with 22 ga about 6 wraps each which gives me .2 ohms. It was vaping fine last night, now this morning it seems like one cool isn't firing and the other is getting red hot. What's wrong? Any tips on building on the mutation. Anything will help. Also I noticed when building that the coils are really close to the cap. How do I give them more room? Ive tried to build vertical could but can't figure it out. Thanks

Can you show a picture of your build? Really hard to give suggestions...site unseen. As far as one coil not working? Most likely a loose screw or connection somewhere.

@gitmcat If a coil isnt firing try tightening the connections. Likely one of them has come loose. The other is heating up faster as a result of this because one coil is no longer consuming voltage. You can get your builds further from the posts/closer to the cap if you make them center build.

@gitmcat SOrry read that wrong. if you are trying to get them further from the cap you are going to likely need to wrap a smaller Inner Diameter coil.

I believe that means you would essentially "translate" the coil a little bit away from its respective negative post and should locate it closer to the edge of the deck, essentially putting both coils across from each other

^ that would be center build. You can tell how it's away from its respective negative post and more towards the center thus allowing more build room

Also, try using the positive post opposite from the neg instead of crowding it all up on one side.

These coils are a couple of months old and look ugly, but they still work fine.

I replaced mine with standard grub screws that I bought off of eBay.

the size should be m2.5 X 4 with an allen head.

Might be hard to find something that tiny. I don't think I've seen much in that size whenever I've looked around.
