I've seen some pretty nice build stands, granted I don't have all the tools to make it fashionable but I gave it a shot. First I found a couple old ego one batteries laying around and ripped the female 510's off of them. Then I found a wood 2x4 block and a couple drill bits. 3/4 paddle and 5/8 paddle. I beg and by drilling 5/8 paddle about 1/2 in into the block, I then used the 3/4 paddle to barely drill the same hole, enough for the 510 to start to fit inside(as the 5/8 is a tad too small) then I placed the 510 into the hole and gave it a couple sacks with the hammer. Finished product isn't amazing looking but for someone on a budget and really into rda' or rta's, this little bad boy will allow you to work freely with 2 hands

I would like to have a build fixture specifically for the rda (SV clone) that II use mosts of the time. The deck is a bit fiiddly to build on but the results are worth the trouble. I will have to make the fixture I want. It will hold the rda then there will be a 3 mm rod mounted close to the deck to keep the coil in place while the fasteners are tightened. I work in a custom build shop so I have access to all sorts of materials and tools to make it. Oddly I'll have to special order the tap to thread the mount for the rda. The thread size we use is very rare outside of vape gear, unfortunately. It was a lousy choice to standardize.
