Having recently become a lover of all things reo due to a trade gone awesome, I've hit a stumbling block. I can't seem to get a build i like yet. I try to hit around 1ohm when i build, i've attempted different placements and wicking techniques. Any suggestions/pics that might inspire?

Ti's the "upgraded" cotton deck, not the centerpost mesh deck (unfortunately). This is why i'm struggling with it.
I'd offer suggestions if I knew anything about that atty. I'm sure someone here will know something about it though. Good luck.

What flavour juice and what nic level?
What don't you like about your builds? jumpy ohms, poor flavour, dry hits, cotton/wick taste?

I have the NFA V2. I use a simple 26g single coil, 2mm ID clocking in at about .7 ohms. Coil is positioned right at the outer edge of the deck, dead center of the air hole, afc wide open.
Vapor is quite good for a little guy and this build, flavour is very good, air is pretty loose (good for restricted DL inhaling).

Currently I've been trying (28 and 30g is all I have on hand). About 2.5mm ID 4/3 wrap spaced coil was crap. 1mm ID 10/9 wrap positioned on hte side near the airhole but can't wick it for crap. vaping 18mg Betty by pinup currently. Thickest stuff I've vaped in ages. Quite tasty though.
I found the thinner wire to be a bit meh, and I wouldn't want to have to wick anything smaller than 1.5mm ID. 2mm ID just seems to be my happy place with this atty.
I've tried the NoFear with 4mm RXW around the center post instead of mesh, but that's with the not upgraded cotton deck.
