The DNA chip will draw only the current (amps) that you set it to draw from the battery. The DNA processor generally requires at minimum a 20 amp continuous discharge rate.

You are aware that LiPo batteries are not safe chemistry batteries, right? Should they vent during thermal runaway, they also vent hot gas and flames.



I know that you want longer battery life by using LiPo batteries, but IMR batteries are safe chemistry. They may vent during thermal runaway, but generally only vent hot gas. No flames or explosions.

Maybe think about using two IMR batteries in parallel if you really want longer battery life. Don't stack batteries end to end (series). Battery Facts
