So, I am taking the plunge and making a box mod... knew it would happen eventually, but didn't know it would be this week until my VV Ego quit working last night!!!
When I was taking it apart the leads cam off the board that goes to the tip, and I didn't get a chance to see which one went where.
Does anyone have a diagram for this device and tips on what I could do with it? I have some 18650 batteries laying around I would like to use and picked up a project box at radio shack today, so I could go straight mechanical if I had too (I would like to keep the VV function!!!).

In the pic I had put the green and black wires close and forgot to move it back... I can take close up shot upon request!!

Are the pads on the board not labeled? Positive goes to the eGo center pin and ground goes to the ring.

It is not labeled on the board... and it where it attached to the board that they came off.

It stopped working last night, it would light up the display when plugged in, but as soon as I hit the "fire" button is would kick off.

What do you think the chances of me getting this thing to go by changing the battery?

I have two connectors for the wires that go up and looking at the button I have white, green, black, red. from left to right coming in the bottom... left or right on the top id positive? LOL

Here is a pic of the board up close... I guess my last try to post it floated away LOL

wires are white, green, black, red from left to right and had a green and a black to the screw on tip, if noone has an educated guess I am gonna try to connect them to the same side that the wire comes in on(green on top left and black on top right) and see what happens

Forgot to hit submit... it was green on the green side and black on the other!

Works good! I took a broken VV and 8 bucks and I have a 2600 mah VV box mod!!!!!!:2cool:
