So I put a post up over here. Why dont you go check that out first to get and idea of where I'm at in all this.

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...at-heck-happened-ecigs-haha.html#post12947011

I want to build a middle of the road mod. I was looking at doing a k100 set up, but dont know a thing about running a 1 ohm coil versus a sub-ohm coil, What changes the resistance etc?

I thought it was simply, Stick wire in post A, wrap it a few times around the wick, and stick the other end in post B, Flill and vape....

If you didn't read my link above.. Its pretty much saying im out of the loop, been using the same device for well over 5 years. and vaping has come a long way since my last mod.

I need a vape-a-cation.

Trying to get a mod that blows some BIG Clouds, Much Much Much bigger than ths ego with a kanger tank.... Can be hit like 15-30 times without being refilled every 3-5 hits, and the battery lasts at least more than half a day...

So im trying to find a good balance... And have no idea where to start with all this new crap thats out. and building your own coils and all this conversion crap.. so lost... haha

The more I read, the more im starting to think that. So the MVP is the battery housing, and the Kayfun is an RBA? Correct?

Whats all this crap about different coil builds and boiling cotton, and yada yada? When I was in the ecig store, the guy was showing me a k100, you take some of the wire and wrap it a few times around a piece of wick, and then screw it down, fil it up, pop a tank over it, filll that up. and you're good to go...

That what he made it seem like anyway...

Yep, and yep. MVP (you want version 2) is your device with internal battery. You can use just about any tank, carto, or whatever you want. It also has a built in ohm meter so you can check the resistance of your coils. Not to sound insulting, but it doesn't sound like you're very familiar with this. Building on a mechanical mod can be a bit dangerous, but the MVP won't let you fire anything unsafe. So with it, you won't blow a battery up in your hand or anything.
The guy at the store wasn't really explaining it enough, from what I can tell.
Watch YouTube vids and read thru these forums and it'll all start to make more sense. In the mean time enjoy a nice solid and safe device like the MVP. Never heard anyone say they wished they hadn't gotten one.
