Building my first mod! (Need imagination and tech advice)

I can make anything to your imagination, and I need some advice on my first mod. Give me ideas!

So what I'm going to do is build a dual 18650 parallel box mod and get an igo w to start with Rda s. I would like some confirmation and advice though.

I'm going to try the igo at 1.5 and .7 ohms. That means my max draw on two unregulated batteries in parallel would be 6 amps, correct?

What batteries would everyone recommend, and where can I get a holder for them?

For the imaginations out there, I don't have one! So help me! I work in a shop with lathes, welders, shears, breaks, and all kinds of other things. We have scrap metal in aluminum and steel. Varying sizes. Tubes, bars, sheets, angles etc. Galvanized, stainless, hrs, different aluminum alloy too. All the wire, DC rated buttons. Plumbing supplies, vinyl sheets in different colors, carpet, wood, wood working tools. I won't get into detail about what we do there, but when people ask what we can make my response is *Anything*.

I Have access to all these tools, can use them, scrap is free. Using the tools is free. And also, I'm the engineer there, so I can use cad(2D model from 2002 though.) so if you have any ideas, I can draw them up. Post them here and maybe even have a poll and I'll make the most popular one.

Let's get started, any info would be amazing!

Update: Ordered igo w and two vtc4 flat tops from my vapor store. Need a battery sled and charger and a 510 connector.

Can I use the 510 chargers from ego batteries to charge the batteries? Is it automatic?

Yes you math is right 6 amps. As far as batteries assuming you want 18650 size you might as well get vtc 4 or 5. They only cost a buck or 2more but will provede you with the ability to go to 30 amps. Some day you might want to kick it up a bit.

I want some vtc5 s but I can't seem to find any in Stock. Still a shortage I'm assuming. I'm not sure for another brand though. Probably lg

ouch!

I wouldn't want to be taking chances with battery charging; I'd say get a good external charger.

I ended up getting an external charger. Nitecore i2. Everything should be here today, 2 vtc4's , igo w. Started design on the box at work and I'm going to pick up a battery holder tonight.

IT will be a 3x3x1" box I'm thinking. Leaving lots of extra room for some things later. Voltage indicator, ohm meter etc.

Still need ideas for some artwork i can put on it! Doing some custom vinyl work

Edit: Also got a drip tip and some syringes. Woo hoo!

I plan on taking some tonight. Still trying to find a box! I need a 3x3x1" (1" inside, pref). Debating on building one or buying one if I can find. Pics after work maybe!

(I actually fired up the igo w on my ego c twist but something tasted awful(Think it's the cotton). Real earthy taste with all 6 flavors. New cotton each time. New after boiling three times)

Hammond boxes are pretty cheap if you decide to use aluminum

Sorry for no pics yet! Going to try and get some time to get the box, switch, and battery holder tonight. Been busy with things at work. Boss has a flight out to Dubai and we're trying to prepare him for it.
