Inquisitor, The upper arrow is the part that I was talking about. The lower piece, can be eliminated if you have the new top cap. You still need the upper one. Thanks for pulling out the illustration.
I know that you can get rid of the bottom piece if you have the new top piece that replaces the mouthpiece. It is still nice to have the bottom piece for extra capacity, even though you don't have to have it. That Upper piece is the real key.
Yeah I realized that after I finally watched the new top cap video. The pics on COV are a little blurry I assumed the top cap replaced both of those pieces.

The new UFS cap does not replace either of those pieces. It is a piece that screws in where the mouthpiece goes. It is there to allow the atomizer to stick up enough to allow the use of a drip tip and longer atty's or to allow you to shorten the tank with regular atty's.

yes Lord but 801 and 901 with adapters of course and with no liquid control. I mostly did this to fit all 510 connections and to have the option of any kind of drip tip
