Built a good coil

I found a sweet spot.

Built a .9 ohm 10 wraps 30ga on a sewing needle on my trident clone.
Threaded it and vaping it on max.

I know it is not sub ohm but I only have an MVP2 as a PV. Now I need to get a mech.

Once you drip you never go back! vape on!

Ummmm....last time I checked....
.9 ohms is less than ONE.....thus, SUB-OHM!!
KEEP THE VOLTAGE LOW ON THE MVP2 with that coil! The MVP2 has a 3 amp limit....and although it WILL fire, you MAY be pushing the envelope on current draw!! I've never gone below 1.1 on my MVP2, but I know folks who HAVE - and ARE - running .8 coils with success...

The MVP 2.0 will fire down to 0.8 ohms but it will only fire it at 2.8 volts regardless of how high you have it set to.

At 0.9 ohms it will only fire at 3.1 volts.

This is to keep things under the maximum limit of 3.5 amps.

I find that keeping things near 2.0 ohms works much better than going as low as you can on the MVP 2.0. You get the full range of adjustments and it gives a better vape. I save all < 1.5 ohm builds for my mechanical mod.

, .9 is subohms. I was tired. LOL. I know the limiter is there and know that I am not getting the range I could but to me the lower coil heats up faster. I have a case of cloud chase itis. I keep my kayfun built at about 1-5 to 1.7 so I can enjoy the vape and adjust the range. I am more just practicing for when I get a mech. Just haven't pulled the trigger on that one yet. I guess if I safely break the MVP then I will have not choice but go buy a couple of new PV"s...
