Got my SS 400 mesh in today, been trying to make a wick out of it. Seems no matter how many times I heat it red hot and dunk it in water, its still conducting electricity. Have you tried wrapping the coil right onto the mesh yet mwa?
Stonze, Here is how I always oxidize mesh no matter what I'm using it in,,,, after you burn and wash the mesh 4-5 times, what I do is the same thing over again putting VG on the mesh each time and then torching it with the VG on it and letting it burn out each time then washing it, repeat that 4 times, then I do it 2 times with the juice I'm going to use just as an extra. This works very well in my G-Tanks. Right now I am modding my Bulli by drilling a small hole in between the 2 post, adding a longer screw for a high post, then going to use it like a G-Tank, I will have my bigger piece on mesh going up through the open Ego Type pin and straight into my Ego Tank Cart. This is going to work very well like this.
I also find that using the Bulli the original way but using the XC-116 works well to but the stock carts for some reason dont deliver enough liquid to the wicks no matter what wick you use, so possible a piece of the XC-116 or something in the carts to help drain the liquid would help, maybe the old straw mod may even work not sure. I got the 701-510 Adapter from VapeAge to use a 510 Drip tip and it may end up just being a drip Atty at worst if my other methods and thoughts dont make it perform better.
To me it's a nice set up but liquid delivery seems to be the problem with this Atty so far, so next will be making it work on a Bottom feed Mod, if I can do that which I'm pretty sure I can do, it's Game Over !
