Burned through the filler in my cartridges

My 510 arrived in the mail and I was so hyped to start vaping that I do so immediately. The cartridges were filled with liquid and a white fluffy fabric of some sort. Being completely new to this I assembled my battery, atty, and cart and started vaping away. In all of my enthusiasm I seemed to have vaped it ALL away.

I have some ECOpure VG juice to refill the carts, but I guess I didn't realize that the carts would have to be refilled so frequently. So now I have these carts with no fabric inside them. I've seen some videos on Youtube suggesting I use lipton teabags as replacement filler for the carts. Is this the best idea or is there something else I could use to fill the carts with to help wick with the atomizer? Dripping for now, but I like the use of the carts.

Any suggestions?

If you remember where you were at when you checked the cart, look around. There have been times when I've pulled the cart off and the white fluffy stuff (filler) stuck to the atty. Sometimes the filler will then fall to the floor.

Tea bags are good---just make sure they are the pyramid tea bags---they differ from the regular tea bags.

I don't know. The cartridges were sealed with plastic and labeled "Menthol High". There was a fluffy white fabric in them. I'm pretty sure anyway, now they are completely empty. Nothing in them at all. Any ideas of alternative fabric filler?
There's lots of alternative filler. For now you could probably just use some ordinary cotton, if you've got some cotton balls around or a cigarette filter.

Personally, I would stay away from the pyramid tea bags, too much of a pain.

You want to start reading in the Cartridge Mods subforum...
Cartridge Mods - E-Cigarette Forum

You can try to go with no filler material whatsoever...

Or you can try the Marineland Right Size blue foam...

Or you can get ideas from some of the other threads in there.

And if you want to stick with polyfill you can buy some at Walmart or any craft store.
It comes in large bags that cost a few bucks and will last you forever.
Just look for the pillow batting material.

I've thought about using cigarette filter, but I haven't heard about anyone trying it. Does it work well? I'd try it myself, but I don't have any cigarettes anymore.

Okay, I feel stupid. Like I said, I'm new. I didn't know what the filler was made of, therefore I didn't know if it was possible to "vape away" or not. I'll just assume it fell out someplace while I was changing the cartridge. Luckily, I am an aquarium enthusiast so I have plenty aquarium filter materials around for use.

Don't feel too bad--we've all had our moments.8-o

No worries.

As a word of warning and caution.. don't "twist" your cartridges when you put them on or take them off. Just a straight motion is best. Twisting can cause the filler to stick to the atty bridge.. or even damage the atty.
