I did a Lipton tea bag mod on one of my carts last night. I love it, only problem is I can't tell when I need to top it off so I usually do it after about 10 hits or so. I just opened the cart and noticed the tip of the filler is turning brown. Does this mean I'm not topping off soon enough (there is still alot of juice inside) also, if this filler need to be changed do I just lose all the juice that's at the bottom of the cart? still very very new to this so any info is great info. Thanks as always.

If you use tobacco or dark liquid it will turn the edges brown sometimes. As long as you are getting good vapor and aren't getting a burned harsh flavor you are doing fine.

If it isn't wicking out, you may have a bit too much of the material inside. This is what I didn't like about the PTB material (I always seemed to have too much or too little). I gave up and switched over to AquaClear foam for all my models, including the 510 and have used it for 6 months or so.

It also helps if you get into the habit of putting one drop on the inside atomizer bridge each time you refill (keeping it wet helps the liquid to wick out of the cartridge).
