First of all let me say, I know Heartburn - because I suffer from it on a semi regular basis. But lately, I figure from perhaps vaping too much, I've been getting almost a hot feeling in my chest.

The juice I believe is the culprit, the vapor itself going down can sometimes feel oddly warm. By the end of the day it feels as though my chest is burning and I have no desire to vape at all.

Just curious if anybody has experienced anything like this at all?

I may have to cut back on PG, but my one trial with VG felt like I was breathing in oils from the vents of a Chinese restaurant. It was for me, an awful and oddly greasy experience.

I also notice with PG, certain flavors are worse. My preference has leaned towards coffee or chocolate, but those cause issues. Mint on the other-hand has yet to be an issue. So could it perhaps be the fact that we're inhaling flavorings that are likely bad for the chest?

You need a good VG, get some ECOpure...maybe check out what flavors you might enjoy without a lot of added 'stuff'. The flavors are very delicate I have heard, however I just use ECOpure Krystal 36mg for mixing my own VG juice. I cannot tolerate PG at all, and it came out about 2 months into vaping, so that sounds about right for you as well. My lungs were actually painful. Very sore throat, raspy 'juvenile boy' voice. Now if I just have one cartful it's just as bad as then, so had to go strictly to VG. ECOpure is the best, cleanest vapor there could be, it doesn't get oily tasting ever.

Ecopure Krystal is the shiznit, That is all I had for nearly the first week. I got over the slight pepper taste and the weird throat hit from it in a a day. Cignot also carries it, longer wait time depending on where you are located. Not cignots fault I blame the usps vortex that is chicago.

So far I sound and feel like I am going through puberty all over again. It is bad enough flushing analog toxins out without adding pg to the mix.

I made a few orders and am waiting to see if I have near the same reaction to the juice.

I will say this tho once the SB comes in I will not attempt straight pg juice out of it for any reason.

Some flavors of juice caused me discomfort. I do think that problems can be flavor-specific for a given person.

Have you tried unflavored PG to establish a baseline? And also, tried different nicotine strengths? For me, 18mg nicotine (the sample flavors I ordered initially) wasn't enough. You may well have the opposite reaction. It appears to vary quite a bit from one person to another. One way to work this out is to obtain a fairly high nicotine strength unflavored PG juice, then obtain some straight USP grade PG (where I live that was easy, about $10 for 500ml from a local pharmacy, there for the asking over the counter), then use that with some trial and error to dilute the nicotine juice to a level which works for you. If you get that far without side-effects then you'd be able to start trying various flavors and learn which one(s) work for you.
