I have Been tobacco free for 21 days now thanks to the vapor cigarette. Last night I thought I was going to die. After laying down for 15 mins I started getting pains in my chest and lower stomic. I have had heartburn in the past so I took a whole bunch of tums. Still feeling the pain I layed on my stomic which helped the pain go away and feel asleep. Well when I woke up I still had pain in my chest area and can feel it when I breath. All day I have been in denial of it being from the ecigarette but It is. I have never felt like this before in my 13 years of smoking. If anyone has ever had this happen or has any input on it let me know please. I love vaping so much and need it to quit smoking but it's killing my lungs.

Get thee to a doctor! at least call your doctor. Unrelieved chest pain that persists after medicating for heartburn, and rest needs to be evaluated. It could be the level of nic that you are vaping, -or- you could be having a massive heart attack, or possibly a leaking aortic aneurism that is about to blow (no matter what your age). The nic level can be adjusted, but if you are dead because you had a heart attack, you don't need to worry about how much you were vaping. (I do this for a living, I am a registered nurse in real life).

DITO This is the best advice you are going to get on this forum. Go to the Dr's brother.

I agree with the advice of seeing your doctor.
You could be allergic to pg . I have read about this with a few posters. Another thing I have read is that if you are pulling to hard to get a draw from your e-cig you take in too much air and are using muscle you did not use before and it is causing cramping. This is made worse by not taking in enough water.

Read this thread and look through the Health part of the Forum-where this has been moved. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...now-experiencing-some-issues-chest-pains.html

I saw a doctor yesterday about the chest pain I was getting. He said it was a pulled mussel spasm in my lower chest caused by sucking too hard on the vapor cig. I have been vaping just as much as I was just not sucking as hard and the chest pain has left... Thank you everyone!!!!

So wonderful to hear that all is good.
No-reason to pull so hard. When an atomizer is heating up the vapor is produced and you should not have to suck, just gently breathe in to bring the vapor into your mouth.
Of course if it is an automatic battery then there is pulling/sucking involved, just no reason to do it so hard. A lot of people do the sucking too hard in the beginning. It is part of learning how to drag/hit/puff on the e-cig.
Slow and easy....
