Burning taste during direct dripping. What?

So I have been direct dripping on my want2vape.com atty, because I just started out and I'm trying new flavors. I have been using it for about 3 days. I now am using just this (creamy espresso) flavour, but its starting to taste gross. It used to taste like creamy espresso, and when people would smell the vapor cloud, it was a good smell. Now, it almost seems like there is a burnt taste and smell. I don't know if I'm using too much or too little liquid, or if its something else. I basically blew out the liquid, then did 2 or 3 drips. If I hear a bubbly sound when I suck on it, does that mean that there is too much liquid down in the addy? I had a theory that too much liquid is getting down there, and its just getting burnt with the heat of the atty. There seems to be a smaller amount of smoke when this happens too, and then when I blow it out to start over, the liquid I blow out is a darker colour than what I put in I think. Anyone had this before?

If you're getting a bubbly sound it means it's flooded (too much liquid). If you're getting a burnt taste it means it got too dry. Once an atty is burnt it can be hard to get that out of it.

May be liquid too viscous? Try dilute with distilled water (+4-5%). Have some burn taste with several chinese liquids - wire badly became impregnated.

Sounds like you're doing it correctly with the flooding issue. However, the burnt flavor that you're getting is a good indication that it needs to be cleaned. Dark and/or sweet juices usually cause this.

Normally, it should be cleaned after a days worth of use. As with the others have said. Clean it and also, do a few dry burns to get the gunk off of there (will turn to ash). You'll know when it's done right since the coil should become orange really fast when the button is fired.

If the burned taste continues it's time to dewick/debridge the atty, and use it as a dedicated direct dripping atty.
