Burning throat? Same coil

Alright I've been using the same coil setup for my patriot rda on a noname basic mod. If I remember correctly it's running at about .3 ohms. Three evenly spaced wraps around a 1/8" drill bit. I even drilled out my patriot holes (I can't recall what size but I went about two steps up from stock) and I've had nothing but cool vapor with clouds I'm not complaining about.

I just got new juice and now it burns the back of my throat when I take a hit. The juice is the same brand, nicotine and pg/vg mixture that I used to begin with, just a different flavor.

What's going on here? Why is it so hot? I've rewicked the cotton to make it tighter even looser just to see if that's the problem yet I've found no solution. Help!!

did you make it tighter or looser?

also, i would check your build again with an ohm meter and dry fire without a wick to make sure it's firing properly

single coil or double coil?

what size kanthal?

I was quite skimpy on the details. -.- sorry about that. All it good now! I just rebuilt it. Everything has been smooth sailing since then. Waste of forum space if you ask me haha
