I'm using an ego, vaping cinnabomb from VB... I used three separate cartos from the same box... Fully filled cartos with juice... Vapid approximately 4-5 times on each and the filler turns dark brown and has a slight burnt taste... I have vapid cinnabomb on other cartos this week all day and this never happened with the other cartos I used... What's going on? Bad cartos?

could be...though juice can darken without burning.

what cartos are you using and what size? how much are you filling with? At a guess it sounds like they're not wicking the juice to the atomizer very well. Sometimes the polyfill can be tight enough in the cartomizer that the juice doesn't move through it well. There can be a lot of inconsistency from carto to carto.

How many drops?

I burnt my first BOGE out of the box after filling only 10-12 drops...
I'd say minimum 20 drops from empty, but capacity is more.
Just cleaned & filled one a minute ago, 24 drops just for good measure.

I pop the end off & drop against the inner wall while rotating.
After a couple refills, and more noticeably after cleaning, it absorbs quicker.

Haven't burnt another since.... Clean about every 3rd fill...
have one that's been cleaned twice & filled probably 6-7 times.

i was surprised on how the juice darken without burning..

Ther was definitely a slight burnt taste... The juice was brown sort of tarry looking... I also noted that the carto was really hot even after a short time vaping... The cartos not having this problem were only slighty warm even after heavy vaping...

1, what is the PG/Vg of your juice

2. where is the waiting part of your filling? Just putting juice in a carto does not mean every bit of stuffing all the way to wherever the coil is has gotten damp. I use 70pg/30vg. I fill a carto totally (totally - like at LEAST 18 drops per ml of carto capacity, popping the cap, never condom method baca\use I want to see inside, clear the air channel etc). After I finish filling and cleaning up a carto, I lay it on different sides for 15-20 minutes to make sure every bit of stuffing has a chance to absorb juice. if your juice is thicker than mine then you may need to wait a lot longer. Some people wait overnight. And some super-thick juices will never wet every part of a carto's stuffing - if you have juice like that then thin it for cartos.

3. What resistance cartos? And do you know that if you poke around in the threaded end hole you can short something in there (I did that once and then the carto was super hot)? And I do not recommend filling into the threaded end hole. That is for people who are stuck with some lame brand with glued on hard caps

I use Boge cartos, standard resistance. And I have singed exactly one, the first one I filled when I did not wait.

So far so good still with my first set of Boge Cartos...
To avoid burning, I top off immediately when the "sizzling" tapers off....
On a couple occasions, I took one or two draws more than I should have, and started getting a very slight hint of a burn taste. Both times, I've cleaned them out with a sort of pressure hot water purge + soak in alcohol & dry.
And both times, the carto performed as new.... I figure i'll be rotating the cartos by flavor throughout a week, and cleaning them all on the weekend. Also, i've been filling as much as 24-26 drops without a problem.... Today one carto lasted all day at work!
