Bad Cartomizer

I had just gotten a new box of Boge LR cartos. I filled it up using the condom method and waited 5 min, juice is a wonderful blueberry 70/30 PG/VG.
I got approximately 4 nice toots. On the next draw a slightly different sound and burnt filler flavoring.
Must of just been a bad one, first time this has ever happened to me.
Has this ever happened to anyone else? and should I have expected more than 1 bad carto over 2 1/2 months?

Ugh I had the happen the other day, right off the bat just this awful burnt taste, I was so bummed! It was a flavor I was excited to try. Still haven't brought myself to try that flavor again lol. It was a Boge 2.0

I know it happens, I'm not sure how often to expect tho. I've been vaping for almost 2 months. In all fairness I just started using eliquid a couple weeks ago tho, I was using prefilleds exclusively cuz I didn't know better yet lol

Welcome to ECF , but sorry to say , even with brand name carto's ( BOGE"S ) once in awhile you get a bad one . I personally don't use the condom method myself , but if it works for you , have at it . I just drop 8 to 10 drops in , let them soak in , then add maybe another 6 or 8 drops . If you blow lightly on the carto to force the juice down into the filler , it will take a lot less time before you can use it .

I had filled 2 Boge 2.0 LR Cartos with a sample of Chocolate Dipped Strawberries, and was really looking forward to tasting it. But, both of them were bad! Two in a row. Man, I was upset. However, the other 48 out of 50 I had ordered were just fine.

It's pretty much luck of the draw with any brand of cartos. I have learned, though, that taking a couple of short, quick draws, without pressing the button helps to distribute the liquid into the filler better, after the initial fill.

Unfortunately your gonna get a bad carto every once in a while, just the nature of the beast. I don't use the condom method either, usually use a syringe on the initial fill up or do the drip method like Renzuli except I will (with keeping the condom on the battery connection) shake it like a thermometer to get the juice down to the bottom. Works like a charm for me.
