What I found with coffee is that it has to be vaped at just the right temperature. I got some for a friend from a buddy who sells a ton of it. I tried it in his ego with a crappy clearo and it was awesome. Then borrowed a squirt an put it in my rocket at .8 ohm and it was horrible. Tried it again in an evod with a 1.8 coil it was good again. My conclusion if you find coffee tastes bad and you have a VV turn it down. If you run an rba or rda don't go anywhere near sub ohm with these flavors as they are delicate. Although some people might actually enjoy the burnt coffee taste so YMMV with that one.

Dumped my coffee extraction in a cone filter. It looked congealed so I rinsed the jar with a little distilled water and dumped that on the mass. Not much extract. I thought. Took the cup and a funnel and poured it into a 15ml plastic bottle. Must have been around 20ml judging from the mess. Let it breath for around 5 minutes while I got my 50/50 base. Sucked about 1 ml into a syringe and shot it into a small clearo. Some went down the tube. Fixed that mess and poured about a half ml into the clearo, capped and shook. Tasted good for a 10 minute steep. Let the wife try it after a few more minutes without telling her what it is. She got maybe a tobacco, a woody taste, hint of coffee... Bingo. She was impressed. After allowing some of that water to evaporate, proper mixing and steeping, I might have a good blend.

If it comes to this... before deciding to dump or be done with it, maybe add some more base? I'm vaping tiramisu, which is a LOT like espresso imo, with cheesecake still. The tiramisu is at .5%, seriously. It's worth a try. Just a thought.

I realize they're different vendors and all, but I read a lot of experiences where people may simply be using too much of a really strong flavor. I'm learning that TFA is all over the place with %s. Yours could be too.

That was my first thought, too. But, having made medicinal herbal tinctures and tessons (it's not tea unless there is tea in it), things are extracted via different methods. I never did a coffee extraction, but there are oils and acids in coffee that you might not want to steep long enough to pull.
