Trying a few coffee attempts.........and yes I've read all the post on how far off coffee flavors are, but they are in my DIY inventory.
Mixed:
5% Lorann Coffee
3% TFA Sweet Cream
2 drops TFA Sweetener

Going for a white coffee/sweet
Got a coffee(ish) BUTTERY cream taste

Bought 4 coffee/latte type flavors from Stormy's a while back and ALL had this same nasty buttery taste. Had to dump them.
Have purchased many other coffee/Cap/latte e-liquids from various venders without this (butter) issue.

Any ideas as to the cause?
ie - LA coffee reacting with sweet cream - would a different brand have a different effect?
Should I be using a different type cream?
ie - Bavarian or Vanilla bean

Frustration would be an understatement - just want something like DK white coffee or a decent cappuccino(that isn't burnt smell/taste)

I've seen many people say that the sweet cream isn't good... that it has a buttery taste... I have some and have seen the same thing. I wish I had seen the posts before I ordered it but it was only $1.50... The suggestions in the past have been the tfa bavarian cream or maybe whipped cream.

Yep, I just found this on page 38 of the TFA Flavoring Thread:
For the record. If you do decide to add a cream to the coffee flavor do not add sweet cream. It tastes nothing like actual cream. It tastes like nasty artificial butter.
Now I know and will try other cream types.
To bad I already mixed it in:
Lorann coffee
TFA Coffee Clear
TFA Caramel Cap

Guess I can use the remainder in Fruit mixes, like Strawberry & Cream
