Does anybody else have a problem with their juice getting burnt or am I doing something wrong? The way I use my e cig is I begin inhaling first then push the button then release the button while still inhaling to assure I clear out all the vapor. I thought this was the correct way to do it but I can never get through a full carto without my liquid getting all brown and syrupy and also burnt tasting. I'm using an 1100 mah kgo pass through. No variable voltage.

Thanks,

Austin

From seeing the delivery devices (clearomizers)you're using on a previous post, those are slow to wick (need to twirl/tip to keep wicks saturated), easy to burn, unreliable devices that need frequent cleaning to keep them usable.
I never have used any special inhalation techniques like you describe.
If they are LR clearo's they do have a tendency to burn juice with long, hard or frequent drags/draws/inhales.

IMO you'll have better luck with any BCC except the prostank.

Well, there could be several reasons your toasting your juice. Since your using a non-Variable battery, the resistance of your carto could be too low and overheating your juice, a gunked-up coil will burn juice pretty quickly too... happens to all of us at some time or another. what are you using on top of your battery and what's the resistance? It would be helpful to know what juice your using and at what mix as well.

These are the cartos that I use EGO-CE4-Bottoms-1000.jpg .

The juice I get is from mtbakervapor.com the blend is normally 50/50 though I do have some that are 80/20 but that doesn't usually seem to make much a difference. And the resistance, I have no idea. I can't find it on the website I order from. CE4 Clear Cartomizer (Clearomizer) for EGO and KGO - $4.00

Yeah, they don't give much info on their site about the resistance of the heads, do they...
Like Topwater said, if the wicks get a little dry, they will start to overheat and gunk up your coils, then the juice toasting starts. these things do need to be turned and rolled pretty regularly to keep the wicks well saturated. The frequency you vape can also start charring the coils if the wicks cannot keep up. Do you regularly clean the coils with some hot running water between fills?

Yes, you do have to "spin" the CE4 once in awhile to keep the wicks wet. My experience with CE4s also results in a burnt taste after using one for awhile. Once the juice is down, I dump the CE4 in some vinegar and let it soak for awhile, rinse it out with hot water, blow the water out as best I can, and then let it sit upright and air dry for a couple of days. Sometimes this helps, sometimes it's just time to either replace the unit or start vaping on my tanks. The CE4s are essentially a disposable unit and you just have to grit your teeth and throw it away. Meanwhile, try some fresh juice that you like.

Thanks for all the info everyone! You have all been very helpful! I do clean them out with hot running water every once in a while (Though, admittedly, probably not often enough!). The spinning trick makes sense. Never thought of it before. Or maybe just keeping them full would help too! haha. Creepylady, I have ordered TONS of flavors from them in the past few month! I agree that I have more issues with the darker ones. MBV now has a chart for each of their juices to show how dark they will get after steeping-which is helpful! What I've been vaping lately is the Hawksauce (delicious!), Thug Juice (also pretty amazing!), and Ecto Cooler. I also ordered a 50ml bottle of their Extreme Ice. I think I requested too many flavor shots though.. It tastes like Altoids on steroids and literally burns my tongue.. I'm only going to use it to add to things that I think need a little menthol. haha. (Oh, and of these, the Thug Juice gets the darkest. The rest are pretty pale.)
