Burnt out Atty - EGO Mega Atty

Quick question for the vets out here..
I have been vaping for about 2/3 months and was vaping hard and often on a single EGO Mega Atty. Well needless to say I was going to wash it out/clean after I finished this bottle of juice, but that never happened.

Instead, the atty burnt out, it just stopped working all together and, while I hope that I didn't push the button while it was in my pocket, it was dead. it wouldn't make the burn noise or even get hot anymore, I tried dripping a little juice on it and again, nothing.. From a visual perceptive, it looks fine. It just seem to crap out.. ok it happens but..

My question here is A) should I be cleaning it at least once a week, instead of going 2/3 months doing nothing to it? or B) dripping on it once a week to give it little more life?

Any suggestions here is very appreciated..

That is about how long mine lasted, and died the same way. I just stocked up on extras, myfreedomsmokes.com had them for $6.57 w/ coupon code "smoke" not sure if they still do. I never cleaned mine. I had bad experiences w/ cleaning 510 attys and then having them go out.

I don't "clean" my attys. I blow them out once or twice a day, and the 2 that I rotate have lasted about 3 months and show no signs of wearing out, but from the experience of others, the use you got out of yours was about normal. I watch for sales and stock up whenever the price is right. I, for instance, just bought 25 LR510 attys on sale at $3.00 ea. I also do the same for batteries. I just don't want to be caught without the spares I need to keep me vaping.

Thanks for the feed back here... I'm just glad to hear I'm in the ballpark of atty life... Will be on the look out for cheap atty's and bat, as I agree with banjo, "I just don't want to be caught without the spares I need to keep me vaping."

We always had extra packs of cigs right?? Same thang! And same parts from same company different results. Quality issues.
