Hi im new on the forum. i have been lingering longer as a non participant and recently got a new membership... i love my joye ego and this has become a great hobby for me and a great alternative. i have a question about flooding and the burnt taste i get after puffing for a while. im under the impression that the burnt taste meant it's time to drip again as i have a drip tip and only drip. though it produces alot of vapor i get the burnt taste and no flavor. in addition, after using my ego all day i get juice between the atomizer and the battery. what exactly is happening? am i flooding? is it the atomizer? any feedback will help. thanks

The burnt taste means it's time to drip more juice.

If you put in too many drops you will flood it, but then all you have to do is blow it out.
You can tell it is flooded because it gurgles a bit, is a little harder to draw on, and you get little or no vapor.

Getting juice between the atomizer and battery is fairly normal, and does not necessarily mean you flooded it.
Although you may have flooded it slightly a few times throughout the course of the day.
:)

The juice will drain out of your atomizer slowly over the course of time, and many people let it drain overnight for maintenance purposes.

I take my atomizer off every morning and blow it out.
And I take a corner of the tissue and stick it in the battery hole and twist it back and forth.

That corner of tissue always comes back with some juice on it.

best to keep batt LED tip up much as possible to encourage juice to drain away from batt.
Unless of course you are vaping faster than your wicking material (if you're not dripping) can not keep up.
Then turning it upside down between drags let's gravity give you a bit of a hand.
