You didn't give much info but I'll try to help. If it is a new clearo or new head you might just have a bad one. If you've been using it for very long it might just need to be cleaned or have a new head.
I like the Ce5's and sometimes I put in a new head and within a few hours it is already tasting burnt, I just figure I got a bad head, change it (again) and go on. Sometimes they last me for weeks with no problem.
If you use a higher vg e juice and especially if you chain vape from time to time, it may not be wicking fast enough.

Don't know if that helps or not, but such is the life of vaping!

Good advice above from Susiejo. I'll just add that any time you get a burnt taste it's usually because juice is not getting to the coil. Often, a rinse under very hot water and a quick shake and blot dry will fix the issue.

You can dry burn the head too to clean the coil if you like after rinsing. This is where you put the head back on the battery (but not inside the clearomizer and remove the plastic and metal cover to the coil) and basically just pulse the fire button on your battery for a few seconds at a time until the coil burns red again. Just make sure you give it a final rinse after any dry burn.

Make sure you have enough juice in the clearo - they work better 2/3 full in my experience and that you twirl it around every now and then (esp when it's getting low on juice) to soak those wicks.

My current juice is 70 vg and 30 dist. water. I cant handle the pg. Mine usually wicks fine unless I take several long hits on it in a row then I start getting a burnt taste. If I leave it alone and try it again in a few minutes it tastes fine again. When I am in the mood to chain vape I usually get 2 or 3 of my pv's and take turns vaping them. I also like doing that anyways because I like the switching up of the flavors ( I always have several flavors at hand).

It isn't just how long they sit after filling them, it is also how long of a draw you take at a time and how many draws you take really close to each other. I try to make sure I dont take too long of a draw and I try not to take over 1-2 draws in one minute.
