I've been using Evods for a while now and it seems that more and more new coils will not break in properly. If you take a draw more than 5 minutes apart the taste is nasty and burnt. I have often gone through 3-4 coils before I find one that works properly. This is obviously a wicking problem. What I've figured is that if I set aside the flavor wicks, use some tweezers to fluff up one side of the wick in the coil, then pull out a thin strand it vapes perfectly. On occasion you might have to pull a second strand out but that is rarely the case.

Hope this helps other people who run across this problem.

The flavor wicks are just to give burned flavor.

I never use the short flavor wicks that come with the coils. They seem to disappear which is kind of scary. I cut longer flavor wicks from a spool I keep on hand, toss the old ones out when you dry burn and add a fresh one. They keep the hot juice from popping up and burning your mouth.
