Burnt Taste ProVar Mini

Hi Everyone,
Just got my ProVari Mini yesterday.
Running the Aspire nautilus with it.
After I put in new cart. I let juice sit for 5 min.
I then put the volts down to 3.0 before I eventually bring it up to 4.5
No matter what juice I use I still can't get rid of a burnt taste.
Any thoughts ?

Maybe its a dud coil, it has happened to me a few times. The other issue could be your juice isn't wicking properly. Try either slowing down or speeding up your draw. YMMV.

I have noticed that with my ProVari I can't do the same volts I was doing on my previous mod. I have yet to go above 4.1 on the ProVari and most juice/coil combinations I stay at around 3.7 - 3.9

Granted, I am not using a Nautilus, only Kangers and a Russian (the Russian I usually run even lower).

I'd replace the coil unit. It shouldn't taste burnt. I run a similar tank with dual coils with my provari. The 1.5ohm dual coil I use at 4.3-4.5 volts. The 2.0ohm dual coil I use at 4.8-5 volts. No burnt taste and vapor is good. You need more voltage for the dual coils like the nautilus. If it was single coil, that would be too much voltage but you are powering two coils so you need more. I use the kanger aerotank mega, V2 and mini. All have dual coils like yours does. Anything under 4 volts produces weak vapor and flavor due to being under powered.
