So i was using my Joyetech eRoll and i was vaping and everything was perfect, all of the sudden i get that Nasty burnt plastic/metal taste then i look at my tank and it was empty... so i figured if i fill up the tank, the burnt taste would go away, however it didn't I tried 7 or 8 puffs and the burnt taste is still there but the vapor production is awesome... why?

PS: I am very new to vaping and i had the same atomizer for almost a month now and i just ordered a new pack of atomizers ( which will arrive on tuesday... i dont know how am i going to wait!!) Do you think that the burnt taste is caused by the atomizer ?

The juice im using is 6 mg nicotine 70VG/30PG blackberry Champagne.

Thanks guys.

I do not know a whole lot about the eROll but if the atomizers are anything like the ones for the ego-C then yes it probably IS the atomizer.

You can TRY soaking it in hot water or vodka and see if that cleans it up. I didn't typically have much luck trying to clean an ego-C atomizer once it tasted burnt.

If cleaning fails it is time to change the atomizer.

It is exactly like the Ego-C atomizer!

Thanks very much for the info!

As a last ditch effort, you might try removing the metal spike section and dry burning the coil. If you pulse for a few seconds at a time until you stop getting smoke off the coils, they should glow orange. Now you can keep going and the heat from the coils _may_ remove the burn from the wick after a few minutes of pulsing the fire button. What have you got to lose?
