Hello all!!! I'm new to vaping and I need some help. I just purchased my first kit. I'm excited to say it was an ego-t. I've browsed these forums for a while so I thought it would be a great choice. I've been vaping it for about two days (pretty heavy I should say.). I'm starting to get a burnt taste and I'm not sure why. Guess I should add I'm using freedom juice from halo which is delish. I was told the atty should last a while. Help please!!

attys can last months if a clean burning liquid is used.
most dark liquids foul wick quicker.
I dedicate an atty or cartos to unflavored liquid because I don't have to worry about wick slag.
Once wick is slagged burnt taste may follow.

Coil on left after vaping clean burning liquid.
Coil on right after vaping dark liquid.

I just put the hot tap on dribble and placed the atty under the stream, and left it dribbling right on the spike for about 5 minutes.
After that I blew through the battery end to get rid of most of the water.
You can then leave it to dry overnight.
Also as an added tip, check that the small bit of plastic that is punctured in the tank is cut off, if you're getting a dry taste.
And finally you can help wicking by giving the tank (not the atty) a twist if you've just done a lot of draws, this will force a bit of liquid down the spike and wick.
