i am experiencing a burnt taste / flavor using cartomizers with a 50/50 mix im wondering if this is my problem or if someone could give me some ideas as to why i may be getting this burnt taste but i assume its because the liquid is to thick??
You can add some distilled water to the liquid if you think it might help. Start with 2 drops, then another 2 drops just to be careful because its harder to fix if you add too much.
Did you let your cartomizers sit and soak up the liquid after you filled them? With a thicker juice it might take a little longer. I suggest waiting at least 20 minutes after you've filled them.
Good luck!
yes i was thinking of trying to thin them down was just looking for some advice first...it just seems like the first 5 or so hits taste amazing then it slowly starts tasting like complete crap
That really sounds more like not enough juice.[/QUOT
how much juice should i put in a brand new carto ? like how many drops would you suggest .....?
We all experience burnt taste from time to time..its usually due to the coils not being wet enough when using carts...50/50 mix has little to do with it at all. Keep your cart wet if your still getting burnt taste, clean your cart if that dont work .... can that nasty cart and get a new one fired up..thats it.
How many drops are you adding when you fill a carto? What kind of carto are you using? A Boge can normally handle 20-30 drops on the first fill. If you're not adding enough liquid you might be tasting the cartomizer burning. Hmmmm... But yes you could try thinning it. You can find distilled water at walmart/stop and shop. About 1$ for a gallon.

Are those the 1.7 ohm cartos?
So you are using some of the hottest cartos with 50/50 juice?
Do you have any thinner juices to top the carto off with?
And you really need to keep LR cartos damp.
no all my juices are 50/50 ....so these are LR cartos? sorry im really dumb when it comes to ohms and voltages and all that
