Great to see the boiling trick work for you!

Always make sure to keep a topped off cartridge in there, and if you ever see the battery flashing radically and your atomizer getting hot, chances are, its the self cleaning cycle. I always try and catch it and disconnect my battery as quickly as possible. If you don't catch it in time, that next 40-50 puffs is HORRIBLE!!! haha ...

I normally try and drown it out with liquid, and just take quick cigar like puffs to get rid of it....

Glad to see you got it back up and working!

o, and welcome to ECF shadow!

Are you really supposed to stop the self cleaning cycle? I have the mini from Smoking Everywhere in FL, and the EAZE from e-puffer. They look just like the mini on your site.

When you boil the atomizer, do you use just water? How long do you boil it?

I just visited Puresmoke to buy some Menthol Premium liquid, as recommended on this forum, & couldn't find it. Hope you get some more, and thanks for the information.

Here are another couple of pointers for getting rid of that burnt taste...

Drain the atomizer and then start with new cartridge. You can drain the atomizer by setting it on a paper towel with the cartridge and battery removed with the battery end up. The other option is to take the paper towel and hold it up to where the mouthpiece goes on the atomizer and blow through the battery end several times (the method I use) this usually gets most of the burnt liquid out of the reservoir. Then add a new cartridge.

I also drain the atomizer before I boil them. As to the water, tap watter will work, but distilled water is best.

Cash, I'm guessing since you and other people remove the battery, that the cleaning cycle isnt really needed or helpful at all? Does it not extend the life or anything? Out of like 6 atomizers I've only seen one go into a cleaning mode, one time, and I didnt even realize it was doing it at first.. I thought my batt was dead lol

Hi Sara,

The mini's sold buy Smoking Everywhere and EPuffer (atleast the EAZE) are not compatible with my Mini.

I try and stop the self cleaning cycle everytime I see it happening. I have yet to notice any harm done by now allowing the atomizer to self clean.

And when I boil, I just use plain ole tap water. Boil for 5-10 minutes, stirring it around, etc... Then blowing it out and letting it drain/dry overnight.

I see zero need for the self cleaning feature. I try and catch it everytime. Still on a 2+ month old 901 atomizer. No issues to report so far
