I recently picked up, as a result of a retailer's suggestion, an EVOD BCC. I've been vaping primarily on my iClear 30 and a couple of other generic clearo's. Right away i really liked the EVOD. Great flavor and a decent throat hit all from a basic ego battery. One problem I found though within the first day was the performance of the EVOD would go steadily down as I used it. It would start off strong but after 7-9 draws from it the flavor, vapor and throat hit would decrease. I noticed that if I released the trapped air inside of it occasionally it would fix the problem and begin working great again.

After watching a video review of the EVOD on Youtube I picked up on something the person said. They were commenting on how they loved the EVOD as well but felt that taking "gentle" draws from it produced the best results. So, I took their advice and changed my "smokers draw" to more of a gentle one and Voila! That seems to have resolved problem I was having.

Sorry for the lengthy story but wanted to pass this along....maybe it will help others as well. Or, quite possibly, I'm stating the obvious and showing how much of a noob I am to vaping.

Take care everyone!

I have found the same too, not only with the evods, but also protanks and my T3 tanks. They are all very similar.

I also found that after I rebuild them with 3mm wick with no extra "flavor" wicking the gurgling dropped off dramatically most times I can vape a tank down to a few drops of juice with no problems at all

You are on the right track, but just to correct your understanding.
When you unscrew the base, you are letting air in, not out. the tank works under negative pressure. This helps to keep liquid from flooding out the bottom hole.

Another simple thing to do it flavor drops is simple do a few No Power pulls to draw liquid into the wick.:)
