Ive been vaping in my office at my desk for about 2 mths now...no big deal... and just a few minutes ago, my boss walks into my office and asks... "why does it smell like a tootsie roll in here?" are you smoking that thing in here?"

umm NO sir!.. Thin Mints just happen to smell THAT strong...

i promise you it was all i could do not to bust out laughing, but luckily i held my composure and he went on about his war path.. (i hate it when my boss takes a vacation..he comes back in such a pissy mood, he walks around sulking for days and is always looking for a problem during those days...)

LOL that is hysterical! Way to exercise such self control You're lucky being able to vape at your desk. At my last job I had to take it to the bathroom. Those people must have thought I was incredibly regular! LOL

the funny thing is.. ive been vaping in my own office for a couple months now... he hasnt said a word.. until today. For example..he walked in one day to ask me a question.. while i had a lung full of vape.. i thought i was gonna pass out trying not to exhale a cloud right in front of him..


Now granted my office DOES smell like ive abducted a whole troop of girl scouts.. but thats beside the point. The point being , he is in a foul mood and i provoked him with the pleasant aroma of girl scout cookies.. so i guess i had it coming?

honestly ill just switch up my juice to something that i know beyond a doubt doesnt smell so strong.. and keep on vaping..

I got everybody in the office vaping. We are lucky enough to be on the night shift, so that anyone that MAY object doesn't know about it yet... (crosses fingers).

I was working at a call center and would do it at my desk..no one ever really noticed the vapor coming up from my desk, but my boss did sneak up behind me one day while I was exhaling and went "I CANNOT believe you're doing that in here". Explained to him what it was but he didn't seem to terribly convinced, so I was just sneakier after that.

Oh i am deffinately being more careful now.. i switched my juice up to Banana cause it has a very light after scent. Im also trying to be conscious of where my boss is located within the building as to not be caught "red handed"...

but im not stopping... im grateful to have a job.. but im also aware that im drastically underpaid and over qualified, so i wont be horribly hurt if he lets me go..

You need to find someone that does specialty scented candles to make up some to match your favorite vape scent. Even if you didn't have it burning, you could say that you had not long ago.

How about a candle(or electric) powered oil atomizer in your office, get some oils that compliment what your vaping. NP lol

I did get caught today in a grocery store...kind of. I was just taking a toke, and an employee walked out of the back room just as I was lowering my 510. He stopped in his tracks and said "Hello" somewhat suspiciously. I just held my vape and said hello back. He walked past shaking his head. but said no more. lol

lol my last boss was like that. every time she took any time off she came back a holy terror. i finally figured out what it was. she just needed to feel needed. its probably the same with him. if he came back from vacation and everything ran just as smooth or smoother w/o him as with him, then why do you need him? its all an insecurity thingy.

there was an old andy griffith episode where aunt bea was gone for a few weeks. when she came back andy and opie ran all over the house messing it up just to prove to her that they still needed her.
