I was messing with my 510 atty connected onto my ego batt...suddenly a spark came out and now when i press the button it'll blink 2 or 3 time then on forever but it doesn't turn on the atty...??
Could it be that i burn a wire that leads power to the atty or micro chip is damaged cause the blue led light on the button stills light up but no power...i know it was my stupidity to be messing with an atty whiled screwed on to the battery...

These mistakes will happen. However, once you stop making them, you can stiill screw up a battery by stripping the threads or allowing the connection to get too dirty. batteries can be re-threaded but I always thought it wasn't worth the time. It's difficult to get built up dirt out of connections without ruining the soft brass.

Always be very careful not to strip the threads. Always keep caps on connector when the batt is not connected to an attie.

Oh yeah, did I say to use manual batteries only?

HTH,
Dave
