Hi Provari Family -

I'm lost. My brand new Provari for no reason displayed an E2 error today, the fire button will not stop flashing, regardless if an atomizer is attached or not and it will not work

Here’s the situation, I’ve replaced the battery with 3 different 18650 and 3 different 18490 batteries and the result is the same. The batteries are all AW IMR fresh and fully charged. I’ve tried attaching an atomizer before inserting the battery, and without attaching an atomizer before inserting the battery – same result. I’ve tried different atomizers using both methods as described above – same result.

Basically, as soon as the battery goes-in and it makes the connection - the display shows E2 and the button wont stop flashing.

I’ve read the owners manual, nothing. I’ve cleaned the tip of the connection, which should not need to do that since its 2 days old. I’ve cleaned the battery posts, again brand new batteries. I’m totally freaking lost.

I’ve contacted Provari to RMA this device back and get a replacement, but if there is something else that I can try – please let me know.

Thanks for all your help, and reading this note.

E2 – Current Limit Exceeded – If this error appears, lower the voltage on the device or use a higher resistance
atomizer. Once the problem has been fixed, the ProVari will reset itself.

Maybe try some totally different cartos/attys? If not, although it stinks to be without your PV, ProVari fixed an issue that I had with my pv in the past and it was shipped out and returned in about 1 week. They are really good w/ customer care so would shoot them an email.

Hmmmm - looks like you got a malfunctioning unit. Luckily their customer support is good so they should exchange it but will most likely require you to send the unit in before they send a new one out, which sucks if you don't have a backup but I can't think of anything else you could do...... :(
